Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
CR Journal is dedicated to following best practices in matters of ethics, misconduct and retraction. Prevention of publication malpractice is one of the important responsibilities of the editorial board. Any form of unethical behavior is unacceptable, and CR Journal does not tolerate plagiarism in any form. The author who submitted the article to CR Journal confirms that the contents of the manuscript are original.
The following duties outlined for editors, authors, and reviewers are based on the COPE Code of Ethics for Journal Editors. Editors, authors, and reviewers will also adhere to CR Journal's submission guidelines policies.
Editor
- Based on the editorial review board's review report, the editor may accept, reject, or request modifications to the manuscript.
- Each editor must ensure that each manuscript is initially evaluated by the editor for originality, using appropriate software to do so. After the literature review, the manuscript is forwarded through blind review to the editorial review board who will make a recommendation to accept, reject, or modify the manuscript.
- The editor must ensure that every manuscript received by CR Journal is reviewed for its intellectual content without regard to the sex, gender, race, religion, nationality, etc. of the author.
- The editor must ensure that information regarding the manuscript submitted by the author is kept confidential.
- The editor will not use unpublished material disclosed in a submitted manuscript for his or her own research without written permission from the author.
Writer
- Authors must present an accurate report of their original research as well as an objective discussion of the research's significance. Manuscripts will follow the journal submission guidelines. (See manuscript submission guidelines policy)
- Authors must ensure that they have written completely original work.
- Authors may not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously. Authors are also expected not to publish excessive manuscripts or manuscripts that describe the same research in more than one journal.
- Authors should include all data sources used in the research and cite publications that were influential in the research work.
- Authorship should be limited to those who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, conduct or interpretation of the research being reported. Other parties who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. The author also ensures that all authors have seen and approved the submitted version of the manuscript and the inclusion of their names as co-authors.
- Authors must make raw data related to their manuscript available for editorial review and must retain the data.
- If at any time, the author discovers significant errors or inaccuracies in the submitted manuscript, then the errors or inaccuracies must be reported to the editor.
Reviewers
- Information regarding manuscripts sent by authors must be kept confidential and treated as privileged information.
- Manuscript reviewers must ensure that the author has included all data sources used in the research. Any similarities or overlaps between the manuscript under consideration or with other published papers of which the reviewer has personal knowledge should be immediately notified to the editor.
- Review of submitted manuscripts must be carried out objectively and reviewers must express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
- In the event that the reviewer feels it is impossible to complete the review of the manuscript within the specified time, then this information must be communicated to the editor, so that the manuscript can be sent to another reviewer.
