RECOMMENDATION OF SOCIAL ASSISTANCE RECIPIENTS IN POVERTY ALLEVIATION EFFORTS IN BOGOR DISTRICT USING TOPSIS METHOD

Abstract

Bogor Regency had a poverty rate of 7.27% in 2023, with a bureaucratic reform evaluation score of 49.33% in terms of effectiveness in poverty alleviation based on impact achievement. The poverty issue in Bogor Regency requires special attention, particularly in the accurate targeting of social assistance distribution. This study employs the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method to provide faster and more precise recommendations for aid recipients. The data used originates from P3KE deciles 1-4 in 2024, encompassing 16 variables related to the socio-economic conditions of household heads. The research process includes data processing, determination of criteria weights through expert interviews, and application of TOPSIS to rank aid recipients. The results indicate that TOPSIS is effective in identifying priority recipients based on proximity to the ideal solution. These findings suggest that the Bogor Regency government adopted  this method to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of social assistance distribution, thereby ensuring aid is better targeted and has a positive impact on impoverished communities.
