CR Journal Vol. 09 No. 01 June 2023 consists of five articles covering various sectors with the following titles: (1) Performance Assessment of Constructed Communal Wastewater Treatment Plants in Cimahi City; (2) Contribution of Tourism Destination Components in Supporting Village Development in Pangandaran Regency; (3) Social Impact of Planning and Development of West Java International Airport and Kertajati Aerocity on Community Social Life; (4) The Role of Community Participation in Poverty Reduction in Garut Regency; and (5) The Impact of Internet Access on Economic Development in West Java Before and During the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The first article, based on scoring results and ArcGIS analysis of the overall system, shows that the new system functions as intended but is still weak in terms of finance and institutions, with an average score of 82.05%. Additionally, there is one high-risk sub-district (red zone) without a new system in this area. These results serve as a basis for planning the placement or improvement of wastewater facilities and infrastructure in Cimahi City. Then, the second article demonstrates the classification of tourism destinations based on components of attraction, accessibility, amenities, and management and services. Some tourism destinations have adequate tourism components, while others do not. It can be concluded that tourism destination components contribute positively to village development, one of which is through community involvement in tourism destination management.

The third article, based on the researchers' analysis, reveals that several components in the social impact analysis show relatively good results, indicated by 8 potentials in the built environment variable and 2 potentials in socio-spatial disparities. However, some components still show deficiencies, reflecting that the planning of BIJB and Kertajati Aerocity has not yet met the principles of an equitable city, as indicated by 8 deficiency points in the built environment variable and 2 deficiency points in the socio-spatial disparity variable. Next, the fourth article shows that poverty conditions in Garut Regency during the 2015-2020 period decreased over the last 6 (six) years, but the achievement is still not optimal compared to other regions. There is a strong relationship between community participation, poverty, and human development, with correlations above 0.9 for each variable. This strong relationship needs to be addressed by optimizing the interconnections between variables with a comprehensive strategy. The fifth article indicates that internet infrastructure has a positive and significant impact on economic growth in West Java, both before and during the pandemic. Every 1% increase in districts/cities with internet infrastructure in West Java increases economic growth by 0.359794% during the pandemic, which is greater than the 0.093785% increase before the pandemic.
